5 Books I’m Excited for (June 2023)

I can’t believe it’s already almost June, and I’m already dreaming about these library holds being filled.

Here are 5 books I’m excited about that are releasing in June 2023. What books you are you most looking forward to?

Zero Days by Ruth Ware

A new Ruth Ware? A must-read for me. I remember squealing when I saw this one on Edelweiss…and now I can’t wait to dive into it!

Going Bicoastal by Dahlia Adler

I loved loved loved Cool for the Summer, so am excited to dive into another YA book by Adler! Perfect pool-side reading.

The Jules Verne Prophecy by Larry Schwarz and Iva-Marie Palmer

I reviewed this for Booklist magazine, and am excited to see it in libraries so I can recommend it to my young readers who like summers abroad and intertwined mysteries where the stakes don’t feel life or death.

Call Me Adnan by Reem Faruqi

This one came across my radar very late, but I am always looking for a good novel in verse to get lost in, and loved Golden Girl!

The Rachel Incident by Caroline O’Donoghue

Gabrielle Zevin blurbed this, so I was already sold, but this book of unrequited love, humor, bookshop work? A must-read for me! It’s giving Sally Rooney vibes, which I desperately need for a good summer read.

What are you excited to read in June 2023?
