January is a great time to pick up a great book. For many of us, school is out for half of the month and we’ve got nothing better to do than curl up with a good book! January is also when we start our New Year’s Resolutions, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve resolved to read a lot of books! My 2017 reading goal is 125 books, and if I want to make it, I’ve got to squeeze in as many books as I can before heading back to school. Awesome new books are released every month, but it seems like in 2017, some of the most anticipated books are jam packed into the beginning of the year.
I am pretty excited for RoseBlood, a retelling of the Phantom of the Opera Story! I also picked The Most Dangerous Place on Earth for my “Book of the Month!” I wasn’t a big fan of the Divergent series, but Carve the Mark sounds a little more interesting. After the Fall is definitely one I’m going to have to pick up in my free time! I love contemporary books that deal with real world issues!
