January is nearly behind us and it is time to start looking forward to February’s new releases!
This month is pretty action packed, with the third installment in The Red Queen Series hitting shelves, along with a new Neil Gaiman book and a new George Saunders novel!
Personally, I’ll be devouring King’s Cage as soon as I can get mind hands on it. I read both Red Queen and Glass Sword last year and have been patiently (not really) waiting for the third (and final?) installment! I can’t wait to see how Mare gets herself out of this one. I’ll also be picking up I See You by Clare McKintosh. It puts off a Girl on the Train vibe, and I’m excited for it! A book that only recently came on my radar but that I’ll definitely be adding to my TBR list is The Hate U Give, which is a book about a young girl, police violence, and the Black Lives Matter Movement. It’ll be interesting to see how a young adult novel handles such heavy themes.
