The Thousandth Floor book series NEEDS to be made into a movie or TV show, and after seeing a post shared by the author, Katharine McGee, about dream casting, I thought I’d jump on the boat. I just finished reading The Dazzling Heights, the second book in the series, and I know she is definitely working on a third. This story is the Gossip Girl of the future, with an amazing, drama-filled cast of characters, and I couldn’t help but join the dream casting wagon, at least on looks alone. For certain character, it doesn’t seem to really be a part of the story what they look like, but Avery is purposefully genetically engineered and needs to look perfect and sweet and innocent, while Leda, a black character, needs to be lithe and ballerina-like. Cord needs to be dashingly handsome, and Watt needs to be middle eastern and a little nerdy but still handsome enough to scoop some highlier girls. Using my limited knowledge of actors under the age of 25 right now, here’s my dream casting for The Thousandth Floor.
What do you think? Who would you dream cast? Comment and let me know!
