January Reading Recap

I always like to start off the year strong. Thankfully, I did just that in January 2018. I finished 14 books, which is pretty good since I set a low goal for the year: 52. I am making good progress on some of my major reading goals, including finishing my reread of the Harry Potter series (I just started Half Blood Prince!) and reading all of Kasie West’s books (I only have three left.) Here’s how my January shook out.

How successful were you with your reading in January? 

Books Read:  6: Wonder, Love Life and the List, Catcher in the Rye, Reign of the Fallen, The Power, Young Queens.

Audiobooks Listened To: 8: Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry, Courage to Soar, Truly Devious, PS I Like You, The Fill-In Boyfriend

Favorite Read: PS I Like You or Truly Devious. For very different reasons, but I enjoyed both of them a lot.

Least Favorite Read: Reign of the Fallen. I’m just not a huge fantasy person and I thought this was less exciting than it was hyped up to be. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
