Author Spotlight: Sarah Dessen

Today’s author spotlight focuses on Sarah Dessen, a prolific YA contemporary romance writer that I’ve only recently discovered but I really enjoy. Sarah Dessen is something of the Nicholas Sparks of YA romance, because her novels will make you laugh, cry, scream, and wish you had a boyfriend with blue eyes and all that jazz. My current favorite book by her is Saint Anything, which deals with themes of love, loneliness, and addiction.

Saint Anything
