Wow! April is going to be a HUGE month for new releases and I can already feel my TBR pile screaming as I stack more books on top of the dozens already cluttering my bedside table. I don’t even know where to begin with what I’m looking forward to this month because it’s almost too overwhelming.
On the nonfiction front, I’m definitely psyched to read the new Lorrie Moore book since she’s the author of one of my favorite short stories ever! Ainsley Earhardt’s memoir will also be a must read for me as a conservative.
On the YA front, I’m super excited about the new Alex & Eliza book, Love & War, because who doesn’t love Hamilton? I’m also going to check out Sky in the Deep because it sounds AMAZING and I didn’t get approved for an e-galley so…I guess I have to buy it. There’s also a companion/sequel to Simon vs the Homo Sapiens, now in theaters, coming out called Leah on the Offbeat that follows, you guessed it, Simon’s friend Leah. And the latest Three Dark Crowns novella comes out! I loved Young Queens and I can’t wait to get more into the history of Fennbirn.
On the adult fiction front, there’s a new Sara Shepard book out and I devour everything she writes. I don’t know if it’s the start of a new series or not, but you can bet it’s already being optioned by some television company. I’ve already read School for Psychics and I highly recommend it if you love some good drama and magical-esque things.
