I saw this Netflix book tag on someone else’s page–find it here–and fell in love! I love netflix and books and here we are. Check out my reading tags below (and click on the links to find the reviews!) and let me know how you would fill these categories!
RECENTLY WATCHED: The last book you finished reading.
Small Admissions by Amy Poeppel
An adorable romp through private school admissions where crazier things keep happening! It has a crazy plot twist but it’s a good chick lit read.
TOP PICKS: A book that has been recommended to you based on books you have previously read.
The Favorite Sister by Jessica Knoll
Reality TV and thrillers and murder and all that jazz. I’m hyped to read the ARC I have ASAP.
RECENTLY ADDED: The last book you bought.
Our Kind of Cruelty by Araminta Hall
My book of the month club pick for April!
POPULAR ON NETFLIX: Books that everyone knows about. (2 you’ve read and 2 you haven’t read or have no interest in reading.)
Have read: Woman in the Window, The Hate U Give
Both were amazing reads and I understand why people keep talking about them.
Will not read: Throne of Glass, The Cruel Prince
Neither of these interest me at all. I’m not a huge fantasy fan, but these are also so over-hyped.
COMEDIES: A funny book.
The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish
The audiobook made me laugh-cry. Just read it.
DRAMAS: A character who is a drama queen/king.
Eliza in The Elizas by Sara Shepard
What a drama queen! But with good reason. This book comes out later in April and is a fascinating read.
ANIMATED: A book with cartoons on the cover.
Eliza and her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
Cartoons and comics and mental health! A good read, until the boy is a butt in the end.
WATCH IT AGAIN: A book or series that you want to re-read.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling
This is the last book in my Harry Potter reread of 2018 and I cannot wait.
DOCUMENTARIES: A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone.
I cannot recommend this enough. It’s a fascinating look at post-recession America and rural life.
ACTION AND ADVENTURE: An action-packed book.
Action-packed speculative fiction that isn’t your traditional battle book, but oh is there action.
NEW RELEASES: A book that just came out or will be coming out soon that you can’t wait to read.
From Twinkle, with Love by Sandhya Menon
I loved When Dimple Met Rishi and cannot wait for this book. I have an ARC I just need to get there!
