The FFL Reading Challenge challenges you to read a book with America in the title this year, and if you love political nonfiction or biographies, that won’t be hard at all. I highly recommend Vanity Fair’s School for Scandals or The Coddling of the American Mind if you’re still in college, The Way Forward or Suicide of the West if you’re interested in contemporary conservative politics, and American Gods or All-American Murder if you love more modern reads. I also highly recommend American Fire by Monica Hesse. It was one of my top books of 2017!
I’ll be reading All-American Murder for this challenge, because I’m fascinated by the Aaron Hernandez case and James Patterson’s books are always quick reads.
