August 2018 Releases

How is it August already? And how can so many books I want to read be coming out in one month? Summer is winding down but I’ve still got some time to binge-read before falling into the grad school/career life. Let’s break down what I’ve already read and what I’m excited to read soon.

The Jim Proser biography of James Mattis is absolutely fascinating, no matter how you feel about Trump. This man has had SUCH an interesting life, but the book is very military-focused obviously.  I’ve also heard such great buzz about Ohio, so if that is your cup of tea check it out. It’s been selected for a ton of buzz panels and such.

On the topic of books I want to read, it’s all of them. #MurderTrending seems right up by alley and I’m so mad I didn’t get an ARC because I would have devoured it. Obviously I cannot WAIT for the new Thousandth Floor book, Towering Sky. I’m going to binge it in one day I’m sure. I love that series. It’s futuristic Gossip Girl and I could not ask for anything more ME. On the nonfiction shelf, I’ll probably pick up Sons of Cain because who doesn’t love books about serial killers?
What are you excited about this August?
