Help I’m addicted to Edelweiss. It’s my best friend and my worst enemy and now I’ve got more ARCS than I know what to do with. I mean…I know I have to read them, and I’m genuinely excited about so many of them, but I’m also feeling super overwhelmed. It doesn’t help that I read an ARC for a book that comes out February 2019 but haven’t finished one that comes out August 2018 but you know…whatever. When I discovered #ARCAugust on twitter the other day, I was excited to find a community going on the same journey because I need the pressure to follow through. I’ve been pretty good with keeping up with my ARCs this summer but…I have a long way to go. So here are some ARCS I own that I’m going to be TRYING to read during #ARCAugust
- An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena
- The Opposite of Innocent by Sonya Sones
- Sadie by Courtney Summers
- The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
- The Similars by Rebecca Hanover
- My Squirrel Days by Ellie Kemper
- When We Caught Fire by Anna Godbersen
- #DoNotDisturb by Jedidiah Bila
- Those Who Knew by Indra Novey
- A Lady ‘s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee
What are you reading in August? If you’re participating in #ARCAugust, what books are at the top of your TBR pile?
Wow… I have no idea how to make a profile on Edelweiss… Good luck

I’m curious about Ellie Kemper’s memoir! I can’t decide yet if I want to read it or not. And yes, ARCs are both addictive and troublesome, I’m with you on that addiction.

I need to write a list! Thanks for the inspiration.

Good luck, I hope you get through a ton!! I had no idea about ARC August until I saw someone else make a post about it a couple days ago, but I would have been unofficially participating in it anyway. I have two ARCs that come out September 4th that both have to be read and reviewed this month, and I think I’m going to take the event and use it as an excuse to finish a few others as well, if possible!
