So begins the next two months in which literally dozens of books I want to read come out. Crap. September is only the beginning, but what a strong beginning!
Let’s start with the books I’ve already read and enjoyed: Sadie by Courtney Summers, which is perfect if you love true crime podcasts and YA fiction and crying at the end of books. People Kill People by Ellen Hopkins, which is a classic Ellen Hopkins book which means amazing. I also read and reviewed 500 Words or Less which is also in verse but deals with less of a heavy topic than Ellen Hopkins’ works.
As of the writing of this list, I have ARCS of Cross Her Heart and Opposite of Innocent but I haven’t read them yet! Hopefully I will soon!
I normally don’t LOVE series, but the ones I do read pretty much all having new books coming out this fall. Thanks guys. First up there is Two Dark Reigns, which is the third Fennbirn book and I’m not sure if it’s the last one or not? That’s unclear haha. I can’t wait to read it either way! Then there is Wildcard, which is the sequel to Warcross and also the last book in that series. I got denied for an Edelweiss arc for this twice and I am now ITCHING to read it. Warcross was my first Marie Lu novel and I loved it. Then there is Lethal White, the new Cormoran Strike novel I’ve been waiting YEARS to read. Can’t wait!
