Oh no I’m doing NaNoWriMO

It’s November and you know what that means…I’m doing NaNoWriMo. Yup, I’m absolutely stupid because on top of four grad classes and a full time job, I’ve decided to write a 50K first draft of a novel. Hence, if I’m not posting as much, don’t be shocked. I’m going to be dead by December 1st, but this has always helped me break through writer’s block and I’ve been really good about outlining this novel so here’s a brief insight into what I’m writing:

The idyllic campus of a small private boarding school is disrupted by the death of a student. That very student had been investigating an unsolved murder at the school over twenty years ago. Suddenly, his death doesn’t look like a suicide and Eloise, the school’s librarian, gets drawn deeper and deeper into the secrets of The Ashcroft School, and if she’s not careful, there may be another body carted away from the Ashcroft before Christmas bells chime.
