March is shaping up to be a great month for book releases! Of BIG names, there’s a new Sarah J Maas book, an adult one, which I feel like I’m going to hear about but not read for at least a year. There’s also a new Cassandra Clare book out, there TBH her books don’t appeal to me at all and I feel like I am way too far behind.
Of the books I read this month, there are a few I can 100% recommend. Anna K was good. The new Christina Lauren book, Honey Don’t List, is the cutest thing EVER. What if Chip and Joanna hated each other and then their assistants fell in love on book tour? READ THIS BOOK. The Return by Rachel Harrison is also really good. It’s definitely not what I was expecting from the book, but is a great place-based thriller/horror book. The new Amanda Lovelace collection, break your glass slippers, is also good, though not as great as her past collections.
There are some books I haven’t read yet but am excited to get my hands on. The Cerulean sequel, The Alcazar, is coming out, but I need to reread the first one since I read an ARC of it in summer 2018! I’m also excited for the new Kasie West book–I almost always LISTEN to her books on audio, so I’m looking forward to that. This is also a great reminder I need to read the second of Hilary Mantel’s famous series so I can read the final book! Also sooo excited for the new Ally Carter–gives me big Nevermoor vibes!
