September 2020 Releases

Holy heck! The month of INFINITE releases is here, and let me tell you…the ARCs were out of control. I didn’t get to like half of them because life is hard and there were SOO many. There are so many cool books coming out this month!

First–let’s talk about what I did read! Majesty, the sequel to American Royals, is delightful. I enjoyed the memoirs Mind of a Conservative Woman by Marsha Blackburn and I Have Something to Tell you by Chasten Buttigieg. Grown was AMAZING and To Sleep in a Sea of Stars was pretty good too! A Deadly Education wasn’t as good as I expected, but still pretty great! I also loved the new Jodi Picoult, Book of Two Ways, and the short story collection Vampires Never Get Old was fresh and queer and fun! I also read and really enjoyed Miss Meteor–super unique and a great addition to the YA genre! Oh, and the new Ruth Ware was great!

See….I had a lot on my plate this month.

Let’s talk about what I didn’t get around to or didn’t get an ARC of–Silvered Serpents. Can’t wait to read this. Of course, Troubled Blood…even if it is almost a thousand pages. Will def buy the new Nicholas Sparks for my Nana for Christmas.  Going to read the Sarah Sanders book and review for FFL. I also heard rave reviews of The Roommate! I ordered the new Evie Dunmore…but I need to read the first one first. I also just traded for Well Met, so if I like it, I’ll likely get Well Played too!

Wow…what a month. Just writing this post has exhausted me.
