Holy heck…the year is almost over! And I still have a bajillion books to read…and that’s not even thinking about all the February 2021 arcs I’ve been putting off.
I did some serious reading in November though–including TWO trilogies I’d owned for…awhile.
Here’s what I read this month:
- The Camelot Betrayal (ARC)
- Badass Habits (ARC)
- Leave the World Behind (BOTM)
- A Darker Shade of Magic
- An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States (DAR Book Club)
- The Secret Life of Groceries (audio)
- Stories from Suffragette City
- Gathering of Shadows
- Shirley and Jamila Save Their Summer
- A Conjuring of Light
- Shaking Up the House (ARC)
- And We’re Off (BOTM)
- Hollowpox: The Hunt For Morrigan Crow
- My Own Words (audio)
- The Roommate
- Well Met (BOTM)
- Well Played
- Stress Less, Accomplish More
- Tokyo Ever After (ARC)
- Bloom
- Scythe
- Thunderhead
- The Toll
- A Promised Land (Audio)
- The New Breed
Not too shabby, right?
The Obama audiobook was pretty good, very very long. I really really enjoyed Tokyo Ever After, and the Scythe Series. The Darker Shades of Magic series was good too! Hollowpox was a great book–the third in a series–and I found The Roommate to be a good read too. I much preferred Well Met to Well Played, but will read the third book when it comes out. I wasn’t super impressed with Badass Habits, but that’s probably because I’ve read so much in the genre.
For my November BOTM, I picked Pretty Little Wife, but I also ended up trading for Memorial AND Goodnight Beautiful…so I’ve got a lot of reading ahead of me. For December BOTM, I picked The Wife Upstairs and People Like Her, both of which I had digital ARCs of, but I’d rather read them in hard copy, ya know?
In December…I’m hoping to finish playing catch-up on some of my books that I’ve owned for awhile, and read all my late December and January ARCs. I’m also finally going to read Crescent City! That’s going to be the book I take home for Christmas this year. I’m also hoping to read My Year of Rest and Relaxation and Meg & Jo, which have been on my TBR for awhile. I also just got The Orchard in at the library, so something’s going to have to be bumped so I can read that…
What was the best book you read this November?
