Another week, another desperate attempt to understand myself, tap into my past week’s happiness levels, and crank out 150 words to oblige no one but myself.
So…I’ll lean into what I’ve always found to make me happy: PODCASTS
The most recent episode of Noble Blood, my absolute favorite podcast, is what’s making me happy this week! It’s a biweekly podcast about royalty and royalty-adjacent, and I love it so much I subscribe to it’s Patreon. That’s commitment, right?
This week’s episode was on Paul I, the son of Catherine the Great.
From the blurb: “Catherine the Great’s son, Paul I, idolized his deceased father Peter III and resented his powerful mother. Unfortunately for him, when he finally became Tsar, he would learn that wielding power isn’t as easy as it looks.”

Give it a listen here! I love that you can listen to any of these podcasts on their own, no history degree retired, and Dana makes it intriguing. This podcast is my favorite half hour of every two week period of my life.
