What’s Making Me Happy: May 21st, 2021

The sun is shining, the skies are clear,and Olivia Rodrigo dropped her debut album. It is, as we all expected, angsty AF and I’m obsessed.

I saw a tweet this morning that really encapsulated how I feel. It read,” Listening to Olivia Rodrigo’s new album (which is a huge pop feat for a debut artist, she’s going to be massive) and thanking Jesus I will never feel anything ever again feel as intensely as I did as a teen”

And she’s not wrong. The Album is GREAT but God I’m glad no one can make me feel like that now…I hope.

Anyway, SOUR, Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album is what’s making me happy this week.

In particular, I think BRUTAL is SUCH A Strong start for this album and really sets the listener up for success-she’s literally an angsty teen, but you wish you were this eloquent about your feelings, right? It is Brutal out there, Olivia. it is.
