9 Books I’m Excited For (March 2024)

We’re back! Another month of new books coming out, and another month of me being overwhelmed by trying to stay on top of everything! Let’s dive into NINE books I am excited for this month. This is my third month of the year not buying new books…so let’s pray my holds come in at the library, LOL.

The First State of Being by Erin Entrada Kelly

New books by Newbery winning authors are always on my must-read list! The comp to “When You Reach Me” is a big selling point too–we love middle grade books about friends from the future!

Henry and the Something New by Jenn Bailey

I really really enjoyed Henry, Like Always and since I drafted this list, I’ve actually read an ARC of this book, so I am now excited to share this book with other readers–autism representation, plus it’s a museum book!

All Our Yesterdays by Joel H Morris

I know that I am excited by this book because it’s a book about Shakespeare and historical fiction and women’s history…and I also know that I won’t read this book for like three years.

The Hedgewitch of Foxhall by Anna Bright

A standalone witchy light-ish fantasy? Okay, I’m in, I say!

Summer at Squee by Andrea Wang

I love love love a good camp book! I cannot wait to dive into this one!

Ferris by Kate DiCamillo

More Kate DiCamillo? I’m in–especially because I think it’ll be better than Puppets of Spelhorst. Oops, I said it.

Trouble by Lex Croucher

Lex Croucher is the author I fell in love with on my first trip to England, but I’m like three books behind on her work now….so

All is Nat Lost by Maria Scrivan

These graphic novels are so fun and engaging, and I love them! Perfect for fans of Raina, who should publish something new soon before I lose my mind…

Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah Abike-Iyimide

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Ace of Spades and cannot wait to get my hands on this one!
