August 2020 Reading Recap

August slipped away like something…but I’m not sure it’s a bottle of wine.

This is more true crime-esque than horror or thriller, but I was compelled forward!

Wow…only 17 books. I’m kind of disappointed in myself,

I have done a LOT of ARC reading recently, so this is a bit shorter than usual!

Wow, what a month!

I like when I pick up a book with no background knowledge and end up genuinely enjoying it.

What did you read in May?

I laughed, I cried, I loved it.

Maya’s life changed ten years ago when she was on the jury for the Trial of the Century

I discovered Nicola Yoon when The Sun Is Also a Star was a BOTM club pick back in December 2016.

A classic retold as if it was basically Gossip Girl? How did I not know about this book earlier?

My reading this year is going so well!
